    Description

Shelbyville Square, horse traffic, 104+ years ago, Indiana IN
This postcard, probably way prior to its 1917 postmark, shows horse-drawn traffic at the northeast corner of the public square.  It is beautifully tinted.  There is the slightest start of a crease at the extreme lower right of the image.
The "Lewis & Hoover" business concern can be seen at the corner, as well as a wallpaper shop, and the Simeon (?) & Hall Dry Goods and Lady's Furnishings Store can be seen.
